the location was super convenient for the ovo hydro. the modern room featured a comfortable bed. i also appreciated the friendly reception staff.
the bar's cocktail prices seemed a bit high.

dry nachos toaster delay
the evening menu featured limited choices such as pizza and nachos. the pizza was average but the nachos were bland and dry. breakfast felt disorganized with a confusing queue and layout, the staff seemed slow to restock items, it was a busy morning. a single four-slice toaster caused a significant delay.

adequate but with some downsides
impractical room design recurring fire alarm
i found the room design quite impractical it lacked essential amenities such as a luggage rack and a proper table. this made it difficult to manage my belongings i had to bend down to pick things up from my bag. also the fire alarm went off at an unreasonable hour due to a sensor problem this seems to be a recurring issue the hotel has not addressed.

a good overnight stay
perfect location friendly staff dog treat stall
the location proved perfect.. it was a short walk to the event i attended. the staff was friendly and helpful. i also liked the dog treat stall in reception, complete with toys for playful pups.
i found the ongoing building work slightly disruptive, as carpet was missing in the hallway outside my room. the scaffolding right outside my window meant anyone could see directly into my bed if the curtains were open.

the hotel featured a ground floor restaurant and bar which was convenient. breakfast included a huge variety of food ensuring everyone found something pleasing. the bar service experienced waiting times due to staffing.

acceptable stay with issues
uncomfortable mattress turning-on light
the staff was nice and helpful, so that was acceptable.
the mattress was really uncomfortable and i did not get a good nights sleep. the light kept turning on whenever i moved, it woke me up several times during the night. because of this, i would not consider staying again.
